Whether it’s four walls, a round house, or a tent , do you live in a house or a home?
I was often told that I easily make a new house home quickly. Once the furniture is in and the fridge stocked I set up the bedroom, my place of rest, and set the rest of the house in such a way that it feels like home.
For some it may seem cluttered. For me, it’s the memories of homes past and the intention for the building I’m currently calling home. Some people hang a certain picture over the couch regardless of the house. Others make sure the TV and the comfy chair are in perfect alignment.
What makes your house your home? Do you feel or see a difference between the two?
Many of us are currently settling in to the new meaning of church home. Worshipping outside like going to the drive-in movies or from our kitchen table are you able to feel like church at home?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Comment below, please.
Enjoy the week.
